ABOUT ME
Textile Designer

I am a final year Textile Design student at Nottingham Trent University with a love for weaving and pattern making. My graduate collection, A Touch of Charm, captures nature as a place alive with character, imagining a world shaped by expression and gentle magic. The project stems from my dissertation, where I explored what domesticated nature, especially gardens, reveals about human-nature relationships. Reflecting on this research showed how many of my childhood memories are rooted in my loved ones’ gardens, where my imagination first felt boundless. My woven interiors collection reflects this by softly blurring the line between reality and imagination, transforming that inner world into tactile fabrics made from natural materials and bringing ideas like fuchsia ballerinas and expressive botanicals to life. Throughout my course, I’ve developed strong handwoven and digital design skills, taken part in industry competitions across weave and print, and received the Weavers Company’s Scholarship Award for Excellence. I’m excited to continue expanding my creative practice within the textile industry.

A Touch of Charm captures the natural world as a place alive with personality through eclectic woven textiles. Inspired by early memories in gardens, my collection gently blurs reality and imagination, using natural materials to explore connection and reflect the emotional ties between people and the natural world.

Competitions
Paul Vogel
Shirting Fabric (Menswear) for Aubin & Wills
At the start of this year, I completed a competition for Paul Vogel, The competition was to make a shirting fabric collection for a customer, comprising of checks and prints. My collection was an interpretation of nautical and weathered coastal elements found along the british coastline. The aim was to feel authentic and quietly masculine. The competition was a great opportunity to expand my portfolio and design for a new consumer base, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Kent & Stowe
Gardening glove gesign competition
I completed a competition for Kent & Stowe where I made a 4 colour repeat print for gardening gloves, two of my colourways were shortlisted and I was asked to present a pitch for my design. This was a really exciting opportunity and it has helped me develop my confidence in print design, especially for smaller scale designs with limited colours.

Eden Unfolding...
Second year final project
Inspired by the film Call Me By Your Name, poet Sappho and many more, my collection 'Eden Unfolding...' explores the lushness of nature through the quiet symbolism woven through queer media, my collection celebrates renewal and self-expression.

Chalet De Roses
